Spot a rug pull before it happens

Most rug pulls leave clues on-chain before they happen: liquidity that isn't locked, a developer wallet holding a big share of supply, a contract that can still mint tokens, or a freeze authority that can lock your wallet.

The rug checker surfaces all of these in one place and weighs them into the Sniper Score. Use it on any token you find, or browse pre-scored tokens in the new token scanner.

Learn the patterns in our guide: how to spot a rug pull.

Frequently asked questions

What is a rug pull in crypto?

A rug pull is when a token’s creators suddenly remove the liquidity or dump their supply, crashing the price to near zero and leaving buyers with worthless tokens.

How does the rug pull checker work?

We combine live market data from DexScreener with a contract security scan from GoPlus. It checks liquidity size and lock, mint and freeze authority, owner privileges, taxes, holder concentration and recent price collapse, then summarises everything as a Sniper Score from 0 to 100.

What Sniper Score is safe?

No score guarantees safety, but tokens scoring 80+ (grade A) have no major red flags in our checks, while anything under 35 (grade F) shows serious risk such as a honeypot, a crashed price or very thin liquidity.

Does this work for Pump.fun tokens?

Yes. Once a Pump.fun token has a trading pool, paste its mint address and we check mint and freeze authority, holders and liquidity.

Automated checks can’t catch every scam. Read our guide on how to spot a rug pull and always do your own research.
