How the Sniper Score works
Every token in the scanner gets a 0–100 score built from six groups of on-chain and market signals.
Liquidity
25 ptsHow much money backs the trading pool, and how that compares to market cap. Thin liquidity means big price swings and makes it easy for developers to drain the pool.
Contract safety
25 ptsAutomated contract scan: honeypot detection, buy/sell tax, mint and freeze functions, hidden or reclaimable ownership, pausable trading, blacklists, upgradeable proxies, verified source code and locked liquidity.
Holder distribution
15 ptsHow concentrated supply is among the top 10 wallets (excluding burn addresses, lockers and pools), the total number of holders, and how much the creator still holds.
Trading activity
15 pts24-hour volume and trade count, a healthy balance of buys and sells, and warnings for wash trading (volume far above liquidity) or tokens that almost nobody can sell.
Momentum
12 ptsRecent price action and volume spikes versus the 24-hour average, how long the token has been trading, and warnings for crashes or extreme pumps.
Socials
8 ptsWhether the project has a website, X/Twitter, Telegram and Discord. Anonymous tokens with no links are riskier.
Grades
A · Strong
80–100: no major red flags found.
B · Good
65–79: mostly healthy, with minor concerns.
C · Caution
50–64: several risk signals. Research carefully.
D · Risky
35–49: significant risks detected.
F · High risk
Below 35: honeypot, collapsed price or very thin liquidity.
Hard limits
A confirmed honeypot scores at most 5. A sell tax of 50% or more caps the score at 15. A price crash of more than 80% in 24 hours caps it at 20, and liquidity under $5,000 caps it at 34. Each serious red flag also costs 4 extra points.
Scores marked with ~ in the scanner are quick scores: the contract hasn't been scanned yet. Opening the token runs the full check.
The Sniper Score is an automated risk signal, not financial advice. New tokens are extremely risky. Never invest more than you can afford to lose.
